Age and Safety Requirements

Minimum Age:

Participants must be at least 9 years old and able to swim. Children younger than 9 may participate if accompanied by a parent and wearing a provided life jacket.

Indemnity Form:

All participants are required to sign an indemnity form upon arrival before engaging in any paddling activities.

Adherence to Rules:

All participants must follow the paddling rules for the V&A Waterfront canals.
Cancellation Policy

Punctuality:

Please arrive on time. No cancellations or rescheduling will be allowed for late arrivals.
Cancellation Fees:

15 days or more before booking:

Full refund minus a 10% administration fee.
7 to 14 days before booking: Full refund minus a 20% administration fee.
Less than 6 days before booking or no show: No refund.

Provider Cancellations: In the rare event we cancel a booking due to severe weather, safety concerns, or maintenance, a refund will be processed within 7 days, minus a 15% handling fee.

Privacy Protection:

SUP Cape Town takes reasonable steps to protect user personal information as defined by the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA can be downloaded here.

Payment Options

Accepted Methods: Payments can be made via Visa or MasterCard for online bookings. Direct bookings may be paid via bank transfer or cash, with bank details provided upon request.
Credit Card Security

Payment Gateway:

Credit card transactions are processed via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, an approved payment gateway. PayGate uses Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) encryption, and no credit card details are stored on the website. More information can be found at PayGate's Security Policy.

Customer and Card Details

Storage of Information:

Customer details are stored separately from card details, which are entered on PayGate’s secure site. For more details, visit PayGate.
