1. Booking and Reservations:
1.1. Reservations for glow-in-the-dark guided stand-up paddle board tours at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa, can be made through our official booking channels or in person at our waterfront shop.
1.2. Tour availability is dependent on weather conditions, equipment availability, and instructor scheduling.
1.3. Bookings may require a non-refundable deposit or full payment in advance, as detailed during the reservation process.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
2.1. Participants who cancel their booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour may be eligible for a refund or the option to reschedule, subject to our discretion.
2.2. Tours canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may not qualify for a refund or rescheduling.
2.3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative date or a refund.
3. Participant Requirements:
3.1. All participants must be at least 9 years old, as required by our safety guidelines.
3.2. Participants must be water-safe and comfortable on the water, especially during evening conditions.
3.3. Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities that may impact their ability to safely engage in the tour activities.
4. Safety Precautions:
4.1. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors and guides throughout the tour.
4.2. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) or life vests are mandatory and must be worn at all times during the tour.
4.3. Instructors reserve the right to end a participant's tour or prohibit participation if safety is compromised for any reason.
4.4. All participants are required to wear the provided headlamps and use the illuminated stand-up paddle boards as instructed.
5. Equipment Usage:
5.1. Participants are responsible for the proper use and care of all equipment provided during the tour, including paddle boards, paddles, headlamps, and PFDs.
5.2. Any damage to equipment caused by negligence or misuse may result in additional charges to the participant.
6. Liability Waiver:
6.1. Participants must sign a liability waiver before embarking on the glow-in-the-dark tour. By signing the waiver, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with stand-up paddleboarding at night.
7. Photography and Media:
7.1. We may take photographs or videos during the tours for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed should inform the instructor prior to the tour start.
8. Conduct and Respect:
8.1. Participants are expected to behave respectfully and considerately towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
9.1. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be bound by the terms and conditions in effect at the time of their tour booking.
